Job Title: The Light Clinic: Center for Natural Medicine looking for a Front Desk Assistant
Public-facing support role as a front desk assistant in our natural medicine clinic perfect for someone that values efficiency, warmth, professionalism and keeping a peaceful work environment. This position ensures seamless operations, friendly patient care, and effective business flow.
The ideal candidate is kind, grounded, easy-going, trustworthy, service-oriented, organized and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities. They should be a maestro at maintaining a peaceful and calm environment and excellent at taking direction.

Key Responsibilities:
● Clinic Operations Flow: Ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently by utilizing computer-based scheduling software, maintaining inventory of supplies and products, overseeing daily functions and ensuring smooth patient flow from check-in to check-out.
● Patient Experience: Provide excellent customer service, respectfully uphold patient privacy, manage patient inquiries, and ensure a clean and welcoming clinic environment.
● Practitioner Support: Number one priority is attending to the clinic and practitioner needs. Supporting practitioners in all of their logistics, so they can focus on patient care.
● Marketing & Media: Promote clinic growth through local outreach, help with social media pictures and posts, and creating media publications.
Qualifications:
● Experience in clinic work or service work. If you have a good heart, love natural medicine and like to help people- that's a great one.
● Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to be kind, compassionate and easygoing is a must. The environment flows best when calm and peaceful, so need to be skilled in using a relaxed, compassionate manner.
● Able to flow back and forth between physical, computer and phone tasks and be service-oriented.
● Knowledge of Google drive, Dropbox, Microsoft Word, Excel, general computer capabilities and Canva is a plus. Ability to use social media, such as Instagram and Facebook an extra plus.
● Familiarity with Acupuncture and holistic health practices is beneficial, but not essential.
Hours and Benefits:
● Part-time hours (typically 12-20 hours per week). Hours will vary depending on clinic needs. Being extra flexible is key to this position!
