Fonda McWilliams
Fonda McWilliams, Certified Spiritual Director and Certified Dream Worker, has long been interested in the dream as a pathway to growth and integration. She has a deep affinity with the work of Carl Jung and his merging of psychology and spirituality, especially as it relates to dream work and the engagement of images. In her own experience, she has found that working with dreams, journaling, and employing active imagination invites a fruitful dialogue with the deeper Self—the divine teacher, guide, and healer in each of us. Fonda has been co-facilitator of the Frankfort Dream Group, a weekly community-based group, since 2011, alongside her mentor Joyce Rockwood Hudson. In 2012 she completed a two-year certification program in Dream Work Training through The Haden Institute in North Carolina. She began a private dream work coaching practice in 2014, helping guide clients through one-on-one dream work. She completed training and certification as a spiritual director in 2016, also through the Haden Institute, which finds its grounding in the Jungian and Christian mystical traditions. She lectures, gives workshops, and leads retreats on dream work and the spiritual path. Fonda is on staff at the annual Kanuga Summer Dream and Spirituality Conference and has been serving as a mentor in the Haden Institute’s Dream Work Training Program since 2019. She has found that when seeking together the deeper Voice for Wisdom, through the practices of working with nightly dreams, noticing daytime synchronicities, or other practices of prayer and contemplation, a clearer view of the path ahead will begin to emerge. She is grateful to be a part of The Light Clinic family and the opportunity to work together to assist clients as they open channels to integrate heart, mind, body, and spirit. |
