Laura finds that healing comes from integration of our minds, bodies, and spirits and our connection to nature, ourselves, and our communities. Her sessions at The Light Clinic combine Naturopathic consultation and health coaching with CranioSacral treatments, which you can book online.
Naturopathic medicine can support you at any stage in life, starting with general wellness and preventive care. It can also serve as adjunctive support alongside Western medical care for serious health conditions. No matter where you are on your healing journey, Laura’s approach to wellness coaching is trauma-informed and collaborative so that lifestyle changes feel accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable. She recommends herbal medicine and supplements when they are individually indicated, as well as dietary changes. Laura has particular expertise in supporting the diversity of human minds and nervous systems. She believes neurodiversity is as essential for a thriving culture and community as biodiversity is for an ecosystem, and that by embracing our differences we can see the beauty in ourselves and one another. Much of this expertise comes from her lived experience as an autistic and highly sensitive person, as well as her work with neurodivergent patients and clients in a professional capacity. This includes both innate differences, such as autism and ADHD, and acquired differences, such as trauma. During an initial 90-minute session, Laura will review your health history and listen to your story, getting to know you, your concerns, and your hopes and goals. In the last thirty minutes, you and Laura will shift from conversation to a CranioSacral therapy session. Follow-up appointments are 60 minutes and include both checking in on naturopathic recommendations and CranioSacral treatment; the time spent on each is tailored to your individual needs. |
